Very good quality, sturdy and well built. It is loaded with nice features, such as an LED flashlight (detachable), rechargeable battery and LED "zapper on" indicator. By Pj I must say this swatter does feel more sturdy and better constructed than any other of those swatter sold on amazon. Unfortunately the electric grid was not working, it wouldnt zap anything. I received a defective unit but amazon quickly refunded my money. Pros: + Violet LED light to attracts mosquitos. Better than normal halogen light bulb + LED flashlight in bottom base is bright and worked well. You can disassemble light from zapper and it will still turn on. +Sturdy construction + Rechargeable built in battery with collapsible prong outlet, no wires! +Does not smell like lead Cons: -Electric grid was DOA -Zapper head a little smaller than others I bought a 2300 volt zapper and it does not instantly kill "normal" sized flies, it stuns them and they fall on the ground. Well, the flies we have in Boston are apparently abnormally large, because they're larger than the spaces in the protective netting, and so never hit the electric part. We returned the item.
