I thought it took many beneficial insects than mosquitoes. Not quite willing to box and send back the three units, I removed the bulbs in the trap and ran the test again a few days. The difference was phenomenal! Not a bug just fine, but only those pesky mosquitoes. Since then they have set traps for the other two, and is in the process of searching for extras is placed around the patio, so you can stop using the two mosquito magnets. The only comment is somewhat misleading to describe this is that it can be used indoors and outdoors. If used outdoors, it should be in a covered area, like a porch under the house eaves, etc. to keep the rain. The description must account for this. However, I am very pleased with the performance so far of this product, and will be looking at our current two Mosquito Magnets when I sell enough replacements for the Dyna Trap units are much less expensive to run, much less maintenance too. Now I just kind of a waterproof shelter for the Dyna Trap build, so I can put them away in the yard. Recommend this product for someone like me who can not leave without being attacked by the bloodthirsty vermin! 84 of 84 people found the following review helpful. It seems to work very well for Geoffrey Janes bought one of those trying to get ahold of the population of mosquitoes in our backyard. We run it for a few days now, and have been filled with a lot of mosquitoes and gnats others. Quiet operation. Only downside I see is that the bugs stuck in the drive, but his life to die of starvation and dehydration. Then leave the unit for an interesting job, as he tried, that no of them go back I'll update this announcement when I have problems with the camera or if it is less effective as the season progresses. But so far it seems to work very well, and costs significantly less per month than run the other units, propane, octenol or need at work. I can live with $ 1/month power. ----------- -------- The equipment is always updated plugging away. I took him aside, had a couple of times in recent years to clean the dirt from the engine, but if he continues to work. As for its successful use as a trap for mosquitoes ... I think that catching the butterflies and flies more than anything else. In the spring, still attracts the mosquitoes through the book. But once in early summer, mosquitoes seem to be starting to be more intelligent, or appear as a different breed, not so much unity are under attack. It always captures of mosquitoes, but not to the extent that, as it does in early spring cleaning of the trap is very interesting. The trap is essentially the insects until they die from what I assume is dehydration. However, its always getting new insects, so clean it can be difficult. I found the best way to clean is to have a basket next to return to the unit, release the fund "keeps insects" without turning off the instrument and the discharge of the holder of insects in the bag quickly, then tie the bag closed immediately so that the bugs that are still alive will not escape. If you are fast, nothing, or very few would escape. And, I tend to be pretty lazy about cleaning. Does not meet the point where it asks me to clean every two weeks. So, to summarize, it is a great hunter of insects. But I do not think we were catching all the blood-sucking problems. * It seems to work well, but I have yet to bring insect repellent when outside. 53 out of 55 people found the following review helpful screensaver with a backyard wilcfr This is the second of these we have purchased. It is probably the best mosquito trap, I've tried and I've tried many. I broke through first.
